This wine has intense flavours due to controlled yields in the vineyard. The wine was aged in the finest French oak barriques and displays classic varietal character, power and length. The aroma is lifted with toasty oak notes. These follow through to the palate, which shows well-balanced fruit and attractive soft tannins on the finish.

Winestate: "5 Stars - Fresh berry aromas mix with earthy notes on the nose and intense rich cherry and black olive-like flavours mingle with supportive soft tannins."

Ray Jordan's 2010 WA Wine Guide - "This is a very good medium to full-bodied beautifully seamless cabernet. It's brimming with ripe varietal blackcurrant cabernet plus a little dark chocolate and ripe plum. Oak is well handled and the palate lush and rich. Excellent wine. 90/100"
